2014 marks 80 years since the first ERA was unveiled to the public at Brooklands.

To celebrate this important anniversary, The Automobile is pleased to announce this exclusive reader offer.

ERA Man – Historic racing with W R G (Bill) Morris by Tim May is the fascinating story of the man who was instrumental in returning several important ERAs to the race track during the early days of historic racing in the 1960s and ’70s. We are offering a special run of 100 copies signed by Bill Morris’s widow, Victoria.

Copies are available exclusively through The Automobile and are priced at just £30 (plus postage). They have been selling fast, and we only have a few remaining in stock, so act now to secure your copy.

All proceeds from the book are going to support supranuclear palsy and motor neurone disease charities. ERA Man – Historic racing with W R G (Bill) Morris can be ordered by telephoning The Automobile office on 01306 628385 or by email to
